Welcome to the Blauvelt Research Group at Nemours Children’s Hospital! Our multidisciplinary team consists of physicians, engineers, and scientists working towards improving extracorporeal life support (ECLS) technology.
Our Research
Our multidisciplinary group combines bioengineering, clinical medicine, and chemistry to build next generation oxygenators for extracorporeal life support (ECLS). We seek to make these technologies more efficient, safer, and more accessible to improve outcomes for children with severe cardiorespiratory failure.
